Course Description

This foundational course enhances practical language skills and develops critical thinking. Through systematic work on grammar, sentence construction, comprehension, discussion, listening, translation from Urdu to English, and paragraph writing, students build accuracy, fluency, and confidence in both academic and everyday English.

Course Objectives

Enhance overall language skills in English.
Develop critical thinking through reading, discussion, and writing tasks.

Course Contents

Answers to questions on a given text

General topics and everyday conversation (topics chosen by the teacher according to students’ level)

Improvement through carefully selected documentaries and films

Urdu to English

Topics chosen at the discretion of the teacher
