The Little Seed That Waited

A tiny seed lay in the ground,

So quiet, soft, without a sound.

The rain came down, the sun shone bright,

But still the seed stayed out of sight.

A little green seedling pushing through the soil

“Be patient,” whispered Mother Earth,

“Your time will come, you’ll show your worth.”

Then one warm day the seed uncurled,

And stretched a green leaf to the world.

A young plant growing happily
Sometimes the best things grow slowly.
Waiting can be part of growing.

The little seed learned that even when we cannot see the change, something wonderful is happening underneath. Just like you — every day you are growing in quiet, beautiful ways.
